Obsevever's status with the ACHPR
The HCI filed in an application for an obsever's status with the AFRICAN
COMMISION ON HUMAN AND PEOPLE'S RIGHT-ACHPR.
The application, refference # ACHPR/LPROM/OBS/FINC/JB of the 29th of
September 2005 will be decided upon at the ACHPR's up coming session holding between the 5th and the 22nd of November
2005.
THE AFRICAN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY.
The HCI now will be working in collaboration with the AFRICAN LEADERSHIP
ACADEMY based in South Africa and recruting top ranked pupils from all over Africa. the ALA offers scholarship to
highly ranked pupils in other to complet their last two years of high school program at the academy. The
HCI participates in the search and sponsor of top best pupils through the academy. This program will effectively beging
by 2007. Before then the search for talented pupils is going on.
